Minnesota Town's Police Department Gets in Twitter Fight with Denver Police

The Wyoming, Minnesota police got into a friendly, though rather feisty, Twitter fight over the Vikings with the Denver police Tuesday.

During its weekly #TalkingTuesday feature, when police respond to residents' questions on Twitter, the Wyoming, Minnesota Police Department got into a friendly, though rather feisty, Twitter fight over football with the Denver Police Department. Both sides landed some solid burns, but we (in our unbiased opinion) feel that Minnesota came out on top.

And let it be known, Denver fired the first shot:

We're not exactly sure why the Denver police decided to take a cheap shot at Minnesota, seeing as the Vikings don't play the Broncos during the regular season this year. Regardless of their motive, the Wyoming police came back hard.

NFL fans from across the country took notice of the friendly, and rather odd, battle between police.

Wyoming, a town of less than 8,000, is about 30 miles northeast of Minneapolis. Small as it may be, we now know its police's Twitter presence is a force to be reckoned with.
