'Mo Medics and Mo Friends' Putting Mo Money into Movember
Fighting prostate and testicular cancers is the goal of this local campaign, as seen on WCCO-TV.
They're a group of about 100 paramedics, nurses and doctors from Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater and nearby communities, as well as fire fighters from Stillwater and the surrounding area.
They call themselves "Mo Medics and Mo Friends" in keeping with Movember, when men grow moustaches to publicize the fight against cancers afflicting men such as prostate and testicular cancer.
The Stillwater-area group appeared on WCCO-TV Tuesday morning to promote their fund-raising efforts. So far, as of Tuesday afternoon, the group of 97 members had raised $7,395. (That figure put them 69th nationally.)
