August Rush is playing on the big screen during Summer Tuesdays tonight, the Washington County Fair kicks off this week, Relay for Life Stillwater is Friday, and today's burning question: Where is the best spot in town to get a slice of cheesecake?

While you mull that over, here are a few things going on around town today in Stillwater:
Summer Tuesdays is in Lowell Park once again this week with music by Steve Parry (5:30 – 6:15pm) and LES IZMOORE (6:30 – 8:45pm), with AUGUST RUSH (PG) on the big screen. The marketplace opens at 5 p.m.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a high in the mid-70s with a 30 percent chance of rain.
The Stillwater City Council meets on Tuesday night for a workshop at 4:30 p.m. and a regular meeting at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The council will have a discussion with Stillwater Township officials during the workshop. The council will continue talks about the Chamber’s request for funding for a downtown revitalization study and review a draft of a request for proposal for a community festival to replace Lumberjack Days.

Relay for Life Stillwater is also this week.
This year’s Stillwater’s Relay for Life event is dedicated to Zach Sobiech and his family. The 18-hour Relay for Life event will start at 6 p.m. Friday, (Aug. 2) at Stillwater Area High School and ends at noon on Saturday, (Aug. 3).
St. Croix Crossing Traffic Update:
Highway 95 between the junction of highways 95 and 36 will close the weekend of Aug. 9-12 while crews demolish the Highway 36 flyover bridge to northbound Highway 95 as part of St. Croix River Crossing Project.
Access to the north entrance of Sunnyside Marina from eastbound Highway 36 is not available. Sunnyside residents and marina users should use the signed alternate route. This traffic change will remain in place through fall 2013.
