Paper Airplane Salesmen, Summer Tuesdays & Zumba on Tap in Stillwater Area

The National Weather Service is calling for a gorgeous day to get out and enjoy Stillwater.

The forecast is for clear skies with a high around 75 degrees.

So here’s a sampling of what’s happening around town:

First of all, if you live in Croixwood, be on the lookout for the door-to-door paper airplane salesmen. Just a warning, these kids are awesome.

It appears that we’re in store for a perfect day to get out and enjoy Summer Tuesdays. The marketplace opens at 5 p.m. with music by Harmonic Relief (5:30-6:15 p.m.) and Hounds of Finn (6:30 p.m. on the Main Stage) and Toy Story on the big screen at dusk. But that’s not all that’s going on Tuesday in Stillwater.

• Teens can learn how to write and illustrate Spooky Tales beginning at 2 p.m. at the Stillwater Public Library.
• Washington County Parks offers free Zumba from 6-7 p.m. at Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

Make sure to check out the Moms of Stillwater’s events calendar, “The Muthaload,” for a bunch of ideas to entertain your kids, and eat on the cheap.

If you feel like checking out some local art, ArtReach St. Croix’s annual Members Show is happening at ArtReach, and Curtis Dale’s Photography Exhibit is at the Art Guild Gallery, according to St. Croix Splash.

If government is your thing, the Washington County Board of Commissioners meets at 9 a.m. at the Government Center, and the Oak Park Heights City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at City Hall.
