Sheriff's Office Investigates Death Of 2 Men In Mahtomedi
A gun was found at the scene. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says it is not seeking any suspects.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — Authorities are investigating after two men died in Washington County Monday. Just before 2:30 a.m., the Washington County Sheriff's Office received a call for service for two unresponsive people near 7 Long Lake Road in Mahtomedi, located about 20 minutes northeast of St. Paul.
Deputies found one man who was dead and tried to revive the second man before he was hospitalized. The second man died at the hospital, according to a news release.
A gun was found at the scene. The Washington County Sheriff's Office is not seeking any suspects and says there is no threat to public safety.

The men were identified as David Peterson, 49, from Blaine, and Jimmy Wilemon, 58, from Fulton, Mississippi.
