There will be a second statewide drill at 6:55 p.m. Thursday.
Washington County Tornado Drill Day.
The statewide drills give schools, business, hospitals and other organizations a chance to practice their emergency plans. Washington County will also conduct a second drill at 6:55 p.m.

Dean Tilley, Radio System Manager with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said he has been doing this since 1996, and this is the first time he remembers snow falling during a tornado drill day.
