St. Croix Crossing Bridge Inspection Scheduled For July 12

Workers from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will inspect components of the bridge above the waterline.

OAK PARK HEIGHTS, MN — Drivers who used the St. Croix River Crossing bridge between Minnesota and Wisconsin should expect single-lane closures during the week of July 12th.

The four-year-old bridge will undergo a routine inspection. These inspections are scheduled for every two years.

Workers from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will inspect components of the bridge above the waterline. An underwater bridge inspection will occur every five years, according to a news release.

The bridge opened to public traffic on Aug.2, 2017. It was a joint project between the Minnesota and Wisconsin transportation departments.

The bridge connects St. Joseph, Wisconsin with Minnesota Highway 36 and Oak Park Heights.
