“This year's event was very emotional for the team as the event was dedicated to Lorene Bonine who lost her battle with Cancer recently, Pooley said.

Lorene is the mother of Stillwater Area High School’s senior goalie Marie Bonine. Marie was presented with the game ball in memory of her mother by Brittany Pooley.

Monday night’s game was also the Stillwater Area Lacrosse Association Youth Night with the Ponies. All of the Stillwater Lacrosse youth were admitted into the game free and were given a special lacrosse stick lollipop and were honored on the field at halftime. The youth showed their Pony passion by doing the wave to cheer on their team.

The Ponies ended up with two wins on the night, both JV and Varsity defeated East Ridge High School.
