Stillwater July 4 Fireworks Canceled: 'Supply Chain Disruptions'

For the second consecutive year, there will be no Stillwater fireworks show. However, there will be other free entertainment options.

STILLWATER, MN — For the second consecutive year, there will be no July 4 Stillwater fireworks show, city officials announced Friday. "COVID-19 supply chain disruptions have slowed the availability of fireworks and they won’t be here till late July," the city said in a statement.

"Consequently, there will be no fireworks on the 4th."

However, there will be other free entertainment options, including Civil War cannons and music in the park on July 4.

A fireworks show will be held at the Lift and Loop Bridge Celebration on Aug. 14.

Civil War Cannons from Battery I, 1st US Artillery

  • Where: Mulberry Point in Lowell Park
  • When: 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Junk FM (band)

  • Where: Amphitheater Stage in Lowell Park
  • When: 5:30 pm – 7 pm

Bootleg, a band that plays rock and roll music

  • Where: Amphitheater Stage in Lowell Park
  • When: 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

St. Croix Jazz Orchestra

  • Where: Pioneer Park Bandshell
  • When: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
