Stillwater Lumberjack Days Festival Kicks Off Friday

The event kicks off this Friday and is packed with activities through Sunday.

Stillwater, MN – Stillwater’s much anticipated summer festival, Lumberjack Days, kicks off this Friday and is packed with activities through Sunday.

According to the Stillwater Gazette, this year the festival will offer 15-minute helicopter rides from Bridgeview Park, just south of downtown. Tickets will be sold in Lowell Park. The rides will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Other activities include a 5K road race run, a kids parade, pony rides, minnow races, and giant games such as giant dice and Giant Jenga.

The 5K begins at 8 a.m. Saturday at Pioneer Park. The main Lumberjack Days Parade takes place Sunday.

The festival has also added programming in Washington Square Park, including a magician and a kettle corn stand.
