Veterans Day 2017: What's Open, What's Closed In Stillwater

STILLWATER, MN — Veterans Day (Nov. 11) falls on a Saturday this year, but some services in Stillwater will observe the holiday on Friday. Stillwater city hall will be closed Friday, Nov. 10 in observance of Veterans Day.

The Stillwater Veterans Day Ceremony is Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11:30 a.m. at the Stillwater Veterans Memorial located at the corner of Third and Pine street across from the Stillwater Historic County Courthouse. A guest speaker will provide a keynote address, members of the Stillwater Area High School bank will perform patriotic music, a presentation of the colors and a remembrance of all Veterans, and designated Veterans will honored with new pavers. This is a free event open to the community.
