Washington County Fair, Relay for Life On Tap in Stillwater This Week

This year's Stillwater's Relay for Life event is dedicated to Zach Sobiech and his family.

There’s a whole lot of stuff going on around town this week. Here’s a quick glance at the week ahead:

This year’s Stillwater’s Relay for Life event is dedicated to Zach Sobiech and his family. The 18-hour Relay for Life event will start at 6 p.m. Friday, (Aug. 2) at Stillwater Area High School and ends at noon on Saturday, (Aug. 3).

The Stillwater City Council meets on Tuesday night for a workshop at 4:30 p.m. and a regular meeting at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

The council will have a discussion with Stillwater Township officials during the workshop. The council will continue talks about the Chamber’s request for funding for a downtown revitalization study and review a draft of a request for proposal for a community festival to replace Lumberjack Days.

Summer Tuesdays is in Lowell Park once again this week with music by Steve Parry (5:30 – 6:15pm) and LES IZMOORE (6:30 – 8:45pm), with AUGUST RUSH (PG) on the big screen. The marketplace opens at 5 p.m.

Cruisin on the Croix rolls into Lowell Park on Wednesday night.
