Woman Shot, Found Near Stillwater: Investigation 'Developing'

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — A woman was found shot in the middle of the roadway in May Township early Sunday. On June 9 at 2:38 a.m., Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to the scene near Saint Croix Trail North and 124th Street North.

Police there found a woman who had suffered a gunshot wound. She was transported to the hospital, according to a news release.

Authorities say the investigation is developing and there is no further information at this time.
