Xcel Customers In Minnesota Can Expect A Refund
Refunds should be issued by the end of 2018.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Is your home powered by Xcel Energey? Then a refund could be coming your way.
The company came into $136 million as a result of a federal tax act. The 2017 tax law cut the corporate income tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent.
Regulators Thursday decided that money should be passed on to Xcel's customers, the Star Tribune reported.

The average electricity customer ($85 to $90 per month) should expect a $45 bill credit. The average gas customer ($48 per month) will see around an $8 credit.
Refunds should be issued by the end of 2018.
