Dean Phillips Demands Anwers After Capitol 'Security Failure'
Rep. Dean Phillips says the breach by the pro-Trump mob was "preventable, inexcusable, and requires a full investigation."

Rep. Dean Phillips is calling for a "full investigation" into how a pro-Trump mob was able to force their way into the U.S. Capitol Wednesday, leading to a standoff between police and the rioters who came to intimidate lawmakers and vandalize property inside the building's hallowed halls.
Phillips, who represents the western suburbs of the Twin Cities metro, praised the police officers who stood their ground despite being outnumbered and said he is "grateful" for their service. He placed the blame for the security breach on their superiors:
Never again, under any circumstance or for any reason, can the United States Capitol be breached, defaced, and lives inside put at risk. 3/3
