A boy was shot in the arm during the 4th of July celebrations, police said.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the boy killed in Wednesday's crash.
The fatal crash happened Wednesday evening at Lake Minnetonka's East Upper Lake.
The other person involved in the crash — a 16-year-old girl — was hospitalized.
The Minnetonka Police Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration​ are investigating.​​
The investigation into the deadly collision is ongoing.
