HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — As the largest county in Minnesota, Hennepin County plays a massive role in determining the outcome of the state's federal elections. This election cycle, voters here overwhelmingly voted for Democrats.

Here's the breakdown of how Hennepin County residents voted in the presidential, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House elections:

U.S. President & Vice President (Hennepin County votes only)

  • Republican — Donald J. Trump and Michael R. Pence: 203,663 (27.29 percent)
  • Democratic-Farmer-Labor — Joseph R. Biden and Kamala Harris: 525,710 (70.45 percent)
  • Independence — Alliance — Roque "Rocky" De La Fuente and Darcy Richardson: 1,010
  • Green Party — Howie Hawkins and Angela Walker: 2,371
  • Independent — Kanye West and Michelle Tidball: 1,879
  • Independent — Brock Pierce and Karla Ballard: 987
