Emergency Repairs Needed on 36th Street Bridge
Traffic could be interrupted for up to three weeks.

A contractor is scheduled to commence emergency repairs to the 36th Street Bridge over Minnehaha Creek, beginning Wednesday, June 6. There is no public safety threat associated with the needed repairs. However, the repair work does need to be completed in a timely fashion and will result in traffic disruptions and delays.
The work (including closure of the bridge) is anticipated to last for up to three weeks. Advanced warning signs have been placed to inform motorists of the upcoming work, and all roadway users who utilize the bridge should plan alternate routes accordingly.
