(PHOTOS) St. Louis Park Shows off on 'FAM' Tour

The event allowed meeting and event planners from around the area see what the Park has to offer.

The city's new convention and visitors bureau, Discover St. Louis Park, hosted its first-ever "FAM" ( short for familiarization) tour on Thursday.

The tour allowed about 25 meeting and event planners from Minnesota and surrounding areas to tour some of the Park's standout destinations.

Stops included the Showplace Icon Theater and Shops at West End, several local hotels, the Rec Center and the Excelsior and Grand area.
