Shops at West End Want More Restaurant Space
More and more are interested in opening shop in the mall.

Wednesday night, the St. Louis Park Planning Commission will hear a request from the owners of the Shops at West End to significantly expand the amount of restaurant space in the shopping center.
The owners' plan will not expand buildings at the mall.
Currently, zoning rules cap restaurant space in the West End at around 82,000 square feet. The mall owners say new and unannounced deals will bring them right up against that threshold, but they keep getting inquiries from restaurateurs looking to set up shop. To fix the situation, they want to be able to add around 8,500 more square feet of restaurant space, displacing currently vacant retail storefronts.
Right now, the West End plays host to Crave, Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill, Cooper, Figlio, Raku Sushi & Lounge, and six others.
