ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — As Memorial Day approaches, the national gas price average has reached its most expensive in six years at $3.04 per gallon. The average cost of a gallon in Minnesota is over $2.84.

The surge is being blamed on the cyberattack and subsequent shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline.
