34 Young Stars Starring In 'Charlotte's Web' On Stage In Concord

The production, put on by the Children's Theatre Project, will take place at the Concord City Auditorium on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at. 2 p.m.
The classic tale of love and friendship will be brought to life by 34 young actors ages six to 16 as the Children's Theatre Project celebrates its 29th season of theater for and by young people.

"Spend a delightful time with the pig, Wilbur (Zoey Jordan), and his barnyard friends Goose (Norah Buote), Gander (Simon Hutchins), Sheep (Samantha Devine), and Lamb (Emmett Smith), along with Templeton, the rat (Lillian Gleaton), Fern Arable, Wilbur?s human friend (Hazel Curren), and especially the beloved spider, Charlotte (Sawyer Cochrane) ? ?a true friend and a good writer? ? who saves Wilbur?s life," the theater teased. "Our youth actors will be costumed by Kate Mara with beautiful, period-specific garb and adorable animal costumes complete with stage make-up to bring the animals to life."

The production is produced by Jen Ackerman and Beck and Ron Bryson and directed by Karen Braz.

"Charlotte's Web also has a wonderful creative team working behind the scenes," the Children's Theatre Project said. "Months of preparation and countless hours rehearsing promise to deliver a superbly entertaining production sure to thrill those of all ages.
