CONCORD, NH — The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce will be recognizing two businesses, a nonprofit, and three business leaders in the capital region in June and hosting an outdoor luncheon and gathering — its first in-person, public event in more than a year.

Chamber members and guests will celebrate the 2021 Pinnacle Awards on June 16, at the Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord. The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is the 16th time the org has held the Pinnacle Awards.

This year's Small Business of the Year is Constantly Pizza, which has a location downtown and one in Penacook. Anyone who has been to a school event in the city has enjoyed their pizza since they are often helping out with events and fundraisers.

Nicki Clarke, the executive director of the Capitol Center for the Arts and Bank of New Hampshire Stage, who is stepping down from the role later this year, has been named Business Leader of the Year.

The 2021 W. Grant McIntosh Volunteer of the Year Award and Concord's Young Professional of the Year will also be awarded at the luncheon.

"We are so excited to host our first real in-person event since the pandemic began, taking all the necessary precautions at an outdoor event," Tim Sink, the president of the chamber, said. "It is so important to honor business leaders such as these that have done so much for their communities, whether helping their customers and fellow businesses navigate the challenges of COVID or by their long-standing commitment to what makes living in the capital region so great."

The year's winners, like past years, were nominated by peers and selected by a committee of past winners. Those winners were also business and community leaders in the capital region.

The event is sponsored by Sanel NAPA and Business NH Magazine.
