After A Stormy Friday, Enjoy The Weather In New Hampshire

Forecasters with the National Weather Service warn of rain and thunderstorms Friday but expect sun and nice temps for Saturday and Sunday.

CONCORD, NH ? After rather chilly temperatures this week for August in New Hampshire, expect stormy weather on Friday and sunny skies for the rest of the weekend as well as next week.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the early to late afternoon on Friday, with temperatures in the mid-70s. During the evening, temperatures will drop into the 70s, with wind gusts as high as 20 mph.

There is a chance of showers in the morning and early afternoon, but then, the sun returns. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s. Wind gusts will continue to be as high as 20 mph.

On Sunday, expect sunny skies in the late-70s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s.

According to forecasters, similar weather is expected on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
