Pack up the kids in the car and visit these locations to see very cool light displays in the city of Concord and Penacook, too.

CONCORD, NH — Looking to get in to the holiday spirit? Take a quick trip around the city of Concord and check out all the amazing Christmas light displays set up by our friends and neighbors.
After asking for some recommendations, Patch ventured out to check some of the displays readers mentioned.
First, head over to the West Concord and Penacook area of the city to Borough Road and drive through the Alice Drive development. There you will see a lot of homes decorated including an amazing display on Kyle Road.

Second, exit the development and head west to check out the Moores home on Borough Road. Seven years ago, Patch put together this story about the family's nearly three-decade tradition of putting up Christmas lights — and each year, it just gets bigger and better.
Not far from the Moores, travel to the Primrose Lane development. Similar to Alice Drive, there are a lot of festive homes including this one house that has a massive display.

Readers recommended heading over to Elm Street so we did and it was a nice drive with homes on River Road with candles in their windows and Riverhill Avenue, which featured displays reflecting off the Contoocook River.

On Elm Street, right around Peaceful Lane, numerous trees are lit up with lights on their trunks. We had to turn around and drive back, taking it in again. What a very cool display.
After driving through Elm Street, head south on Village Street to Fisherville Road to Margerie Street where there are a few nice displays. Then, take a left on Sylvester Street to the Governors Way development. There, you will find a number of very cool displays on Gallen Drive and Peterson Circle, too.
There were also several displays along the way that we saw including houses on Fisherville Road, North State Street, Auburn Street, Penacook Street, and Samuel Drive, too. We also hear there are nice ones on Mountain Road, too.
