Broken Ground School PE teacher Nick Zeras is letting our students and parents in on the FUN! Parents are rolling up their sleeves and enthusiastically joining in on dodgeball games with their students! It’s going viral on many Facebook pages and the students are loving every second of it!
“It’s great to get the parents involved in the school community and in promoting their children’s physical fitness” commented Mr. Z as the kids fondly call him. “Parents are noting what a workout it is and want to know when we can do it again. It’s encouraging to know they are supporting our phys-ed and health programs. So many parents have taken time out of their busy schedules to attend gym class and the event has been a big success.”

This is Broken Ground’s first year taking part in the national event that was started last year. We look forward to doing it again; maybe even before next September.
Featured photo is school board member and parent Pam Wicks who enjoyed playing “White Knight”, a dodgeball variation with her two boys at BGS.
