Watch: Concord police, fire and rescue teams were kept busy with two crashes on Monday.

CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters and police were kept busy with crashes on Monday after a bus and car collided on Loudon Road and a car drove into an apartment building on Old Suncook Road.

Around 3 p.m., police and firefighters were sent to Loudon Road near Walmart for a report of a bus crash. When they arrived, they found the bus but did not see a vehicle. Later, the car was found across the street at the Shell station. After talking to the driver of the bus and passengers as well as the driver and passenger of the sedan, EMTs found out there were no injuries and cleared the scene. Police assisted in getting the students from the bus to their parents.

Firefighters, a few minutes later, were sent to North Main Street and Loudon Road for a small fire off to the side of the street. While there, dispatch asked how long they would be because they had another call. The commander said about a minute. After that, dispatch sent them to Old Suncook Road for a report of a car being driven into an apartment building.

At the Friedman Court apartments, they found a sedan had driven into the side of the building while also knocking down a handicapped sign. The driver, a woman in her early 70s, appeared to be OK.

A tow truck is being called to the apartment building to remove the vehicle. The city's building inspector is also being requested to assess the damage to the building.
