Carnival Comes To Concord, Setting Up Shop At Steeplegate Mall

Fiesta Shows of Seabrook, which also runs drive-ins in Mass., will be offering carnival fun, with coronavirus protections, through Sunday.

CONCORD, NH — While the annual Kiwanis Fair has been canceled for the second year in a row, there will still be carnival fun this weekend in Concord.

Fiesta Shows has a carnival set up near the old Sears location at the Steeplegate Mall, at 270 Loudon Road, running through Sunday.

Carnival hours will be 5 p.m. to close on Thursday and Friday, and 1 p.m. to close on Saturday and Sunday. Closing time is usually around 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, according to the company.

Tickets are $28 to $40, with unlimited rides during certain hours and restrictions, which can be found here.

Fiesta Shows has a number of coronavirus restrictions inside its facility including a requirement to practice 6 feet social distancing and masks required when near concessions or restrooms. Workers were seen Thursday carrying disinfectant machines into the grounds. There are self-service machines also set up for tickets and purchases can also be made online.

The company also runs drive-in theatres in Massachusetts in Marshfield, Topsfield, and West Springfield, according to its website.
