Celebrate Mother’s Day, Granite State Style

If you didn’t know already, it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday (May 12, 2019), which means it’s time to show that special person in your family, who brought you to life, that you love and care for them. If you are at a loss for what to do, here are some ideas that we spotted at Patch in New Hampshire.

The Grappone Conference Center is hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch with the proceeds going to the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire. Tickets are just $35.

The LaBelle Winery in Amherst is offering a “grand brunch buffet” with sweet and savory b-fast and lunch items.

The Granite Restaurant at the Centennial Inn in Concord has a special Mother’s Day menu.

The Granite United Church of Bedford is hosting a Mother’s Day celebration that includes flowers and a free family photo booth.

The Bedford Village Inn is also offering brunch and dinner options on Sunday.

If theater is her thing, Majestic Theatre teen players will present the school edition of “Aida” on Mother’s Day at 2 p.m. at the Derry Opera House.

The New Hampshire Theatre Project presents “White Rabbit Red Rabbit” at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth at 2 p.m.

Epoch at the Exeter Inn is hosting a brunch with all kinds of local food fare.

The Currier Museum of Art in Manchester is offering mimosas and music at 10 a.m.

There’s a luncheon in Hudson, you can honor your mom with a donation to SaferCats.com, or check out the Dunbarton Arts on the Common event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. That event is a free one!

Some other ideas? Moms get in free, with a free lunch with a paying child, at Canobie Lake Park in Salem. The M/S Mount Washington has a cruise-brunch at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Moms can play mini-golf for free at Chucksters in Chichester and Hooksett.
