Clinton Street Crash Sends Drivers To Concord Hospital: Watch
Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to Route 13 near Turkey Pond after three vehicles collided on Tuesday.
CONCORD, NH — Dozens of vehicles were at a standstill for about an hour on Tuesday after a three-vehicle crash closed Clinton Street to traffic.
Concord fire and rescue teams, as well as police, were sent to Route 13 around 3:45 p.m. for a report of an accident with injuries and possible extrication needed. When they arrived, they found a Subaru station wagon had collided with GMC SUV and a Honda Accord sedan.
Police immediately closed off the street from Birchdale Road and Silk Farm Road. All vehicles sustained serious damage but no drivers needed to be removed from their vehicles.

At least two people were taken to Concord Hospital with injuries. Multiple tow trucks were called to clear the crash. Firefighters left the area around 4:30 p.m. and police not long after that.
One resident reported hearing what sounded like a large explosion when the crash occurred. Another said the cars are always whipping down the street — way faster than the 35-mph speed limit.
