Come celebrate OLLI's 10th!!

Something wonderful has been happening in our community for the past decade - something that everyone should know about.

OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) at Granite State College, has been providing hundreds of area residents with great opportunities to expand their knowledge, at very affordable costs. The subject matters are varied and appeal to every taste and interest.

Whether its an invigorating discussion about World Events, a look or revisit to classic films, a day trip, finding out something you never knew or considered about a topic like Math or dozens of other fascinating topics, chances are you can find it at OLLI.

Today (Tuesday, June 17th) there's a special event as part of the ongoing celebration of OLLI. At 1 PM you can drop by Tad's Place at Havenwood/Heritage Heights and find out what so many already know about OLLI and perhaps take the leap yourself. It's free and fascinating and I've a feeling you'll get hooked as so many have.

I've taught 11 classes myself on campuses in Concord, Manchester and Portsmouth and frankly, I'm hooked. I've also taken classes, including a recent tour of the State Library which provided me with information I never knew even when working there for a year while in high school.

OLLI is not only a great way to have fun while finding out about something you might never have known about, it's also a great way to make new friends.

Happy 10th Anniversary OLLI!!!
