Community Players Latest Promises Lots of Laughs

When Concord's beloved Community Players announced their 86th Season last year, they promised it would be a season filled with laughs. On that they have delivered and then some.

Following on the heels of the very well received, "Spamalot" and "Kong's Night Out", comes their latest production which will be performed at the City Auditorium on Prince Street May 2-4.  It's called "Hotel La Putts" and its set in New Hampshire.  It's a madcap comic farce akin to the exhilaration of riding a rollercoaster and it'll have you forgetting about the recent seemingly endless winter and the chilly temps promised for the rest of the week.

Wally Pineault, who has a history with the Players going back into the 70's and has taught Directing, Acting and Dramatic Theory at New England College for many years, is the author and director of "Hotel La Putts".  Looking at his very impressive resume of productions in the past 35 plus years, it's not difficult to anticipate another memorable evening or afternoon spent in the theatre.

The other day Wally dropped by the WKXL Studios to chat with me on "Downtown Dialogues". The 40 minutes raced by way too quickly, but give a listen in at the link below and I am certain it'll make you want to include this comic gem in your weekend plans.
