Michelle Lisa Brien, 42, of Manchester Street in Concord was arrested at 6 a.m. on April 14 on simple assault, resisting arrest or detention, and breach of bail charges. Police were sent to Manchester Street for a report of a woman locking a man out of a manufactured home. Dispatch told officers before arriving that the suspect, Brien, had a bail order to stay away from the property, according to an affidavit. When they arrived, the officers spoke to a man who complained he could not get into his home and accused Brien of being unstable. Officers made contact with Brien, who was "difficult" to understand because she was speaking so fast as well as unable to make eye contact, making comments about a bird, the report said. Since she was not supposed to be at the property, officers attempted to remove her but she refused, the affidavit stated. Three officers attempted to arrest her for resisting and accused her of wildly thrashing and attempting to take control of a table with her legs and not be handcuffed. She then began to repeatedly kick a sergeant, according to an affidavit. The officers were able to get control of Brien but she was accused of dropping to the ground and refusing to enter the police cruiser. After eventually being contained in the cruiser, she was transported directly to county for processing. Brien has active drug cases in superior court and pleaded guilty to controlled drug: controlled premises where drugs kept and criminal mischief charges in Merrimack County Superior Court on Feb. 3.
