Concord Man Dies, Another Seriously Injured In I-89 Crash
Kiran Darjee, 21, died on Friday after being ejected from a vehicle during a rollover accident where a vehicle crashed into trees in Warner.
CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police are investigating a fatal vehicle crash on Interstate 89 on Friday.
Troopers as well as Warner firefighters and Hopkinton EMTs were sent to Interstate 89 north between Exit 7 and Exit 8 for a rollover crash. A few minutes after the initial report, capital region fire dispatch requested a second ambulance from Henniker to assist.
When troopers and EMTs arrived, they found one vehicle, “well into the trees” and on its roof, on the left-hand side, high-speed lane of the highway, according to the first arriving firefighters. Two occupants were ejected from the vehicle with CPR being performed on one of the patients.
