Police were sent to the Steeplegate Mall on Loudon Road for a report of an employee claiming a man threatened to "kick her ass." The employee gave a description of the man and police searched the area for him. Not long after, the reporting officer found a suspect matching the description, later identified as Bouyer. He was questioned and an affidavit accused him of admitting he was the man who exchanged words with the mall employee. Another officer knew Bouyer was trespassed from the mall, something dispatch confirmed later. He was also out on bail after being arrested for trespassing at the mall on April 27, the report said. Several times, the officer said, Bouyer told the officer he was going to go over and "kick her ass" when spoken to about the incident. He was arrested and held without bail. During processing, an active warrant was found against Bouyer for simple assault and criminal threatening charges after an incident at Shaw’s Supermarket on D'Amante Drive. In that incident, on April 30, a store employee accused Bouyer of "belly bumping" him after he was accused of harassing customers. A customer told police she was loading groceries into her car, Bouyer approached her, and began asking for $10, $15, or $20, an affidavit stated. The woman got into her vehicle and Bouyer asked for the dime that was on the floor of her vehicle, the report stated. The woman gave him the dime and then, a store employee approached them and asked Bouyer to leave. Bouyer, the report said, became upset, began yelling, and then belly bumped him twice. He then left. After taking more witness statements and eyeing video, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
