Concord Police Release Security Footage Of Attempted Bank Robber

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are asking for the public’s help identifying a “person of interest” involved in an attempted bank robbery on South Main Street on Monday.

Police were sent to the Ledyard National Bank at 74 S. Main St. at around 2:45 p.m. Dispatch told the first arriving officers a man passed a note to a teller, demanded money, and then fled.

A New Hampshire State Police K-9 unit was called in to assist. Concord police and state troopers scoured the South End looking for the suspect for about an hour. Evidence was reportedly found on Perley Street. Later in the day, dispatch received a call about a man in a Bruins T-shirt near Fort Eddy Road and Interstate 93 but the man was not the same person as the suspect.
