CONCORD, NH — Keith R. Dame, 44, of Bog Road in Concord was arrested at 7:51 a.m. on April 10, 2021, on conduct after an accident and two receiving stolen property charges. In the property charge case, back on Nov. 17, 2020, police were sent to Concord Area Transit on Industrial Park Drive for a report of stolen catalytic converters, according to an affidavit. About an hour later, the manager of Schnitzer's Scrap Metal Yard reported two people attempting to sell catalytic converters. Both, she said, were missing heat shields and were consistent with ones used on trucks. The officer showed up and spoke to Dame, who was with a woman, according to an affidavit, and was attempting to get cash for the converters. "Keith initially said he was trying to help a friend by cashing in the converters," the officer wrote. "He eventually claimed he carried both the converters into Schnitzer's." The converters were seized, as evidence, and later, matched to the ones missing from CAT, the report said. In a second affidavit, police were sent to Loudon Road a report of an RV crashing into vehicles and a house on Jan. 1 around 4 a.m. A witness stated people in the RV were "yelling as though they were on drugs," a report stated. The RV, the officer said, was pushed against a home and pressed against two vehicles. A man was yelling about his RV being destroyed while a woman was with him. The man was speaking as if there was a third person, the officer wrote. Later, according to the affidavit, the woman said Dame was driving the RV before it crashed. She accused Dame of fleeing the area. The man also accused Dame of driving, the report stated. The affidavit alleged there were three needles "commonly used for heroin" in the area of the driver's seat. A New Hampshire State Police K-9 unit was requested to track Dame but it was unable to find him. The K-9 did, however, find a mask with "seemingly fresh blood on it." An affidavit was then issued for Dame's arrest on a conduct charge.
