Convicted New Hampshire Armed Robber Placed On Escape Status
NH Department of Corrections: John Warman Fossa failed to return to the North End Transitional Housing Unit in Concord on Sunday.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public's help locating a felon, housed in a minimum-security transitional unit in Concord, who failed to return to the unit on Sunday.
John Warman Fossa is 37, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighs 265 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair. He has a number of tattoos on his shoulders, chest, and right wrist. On his right shoulder, Fossa has a tattoo of a snake wrapped around a rose. The words "Pure White Trash" are tattooed across his chest, according to an alert.
State officials said Fossa was last seen around 8 a.m. on Saturday in the North End of Concord when he left for work. He was scheduled to return at 1 a.m. after working two jobs. However, investigators accused him of failing to report to either place of employment on Saturday.

In February 2015, Fossa pleaded guilty to robbery, criminal threatening, and two counts of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon after an incident in December 2011 in Dover and a burglary in Rochester in November 2011. Assault charges from September 2011 in Rochester connected to the cases were nolle prossed. He also pleaded guilty to assault by an inmate after an incident in Dover in June 2014. Fossa was a felon due to a habitual offender charge from August 2009 in Rochester. He also pleaded guilty to possession-sale of narcotic drugs and driving or operating under the influence of drugs-liquor at the time, too, according to superior court documents.
