Department Of Corrections Investigators Searching For NH Convict With ?Significant Criminal History?
Eugene Lee Person, a fugitive with ?violent tendencies,? has not been seen since September but is aware of his warrant status, NH DOC says.

CONCORD, NH ? The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public?s help in finding a fugitive with an active warrant after being accused of absconding from parole supervision in September.
Eugene Lee Person is 52, Black, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighs around 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Person has several tattoos, including a right arm sleeve, the words, ?Only God Can Judge Me,? and three faces on his chest, a face on his right shoulder, and ?Glodys Person #1 Mom 1955 2005 on his left shoulder.
Along with the fugitive parole warrant, issued on Sept. 9, Person is wanted on a felony possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute warrant issued by Manchester police.

?Person is on parole supervision for a prior conviction and sentence for possession of controlled drugs, escape, and falsifying physical evidence,? the department said in an alert. ?Person has a significant criminal history including possession of controlled drugs, falsifying physical evidence, disobeying an officer, violation of parole, resisting arrest, criminal threatening, simple assault, stalking, first degree assault, violation of protective order, and escape.?
Person has ties to the Queen City as well as communities in northern New Hampshire. Officials said, ?he is aware of his warrant status,? while adding, ?Person should be considered to have violent tendencies based on his history of arrests.?

Person?s criminal history dates back more than three decades.
He was first accused of first-degree assault after an incident in Manchester in February 1991. He pleaded guilty to the charge three years later. In 1996, his probation was terminated via an amended sentence.
In March 1998, Person pleaded guilty to an acts prohibited charge out of Bedford and was sentenced to 200 months in jail, all suspended. According to the court, he failed to pay his fine and was tracked down a year later. A contempt hearing was held in April 2000.
Person racked up a slew of charges in 2012, including threat, assault, and resisting charges, acts prohibited, drug possession, and a cocaine sale charge, all in Manchester, in four separate incidents. He pleaded guilty to the assault, resisting, and drug sale charges in December 2011 and received 12-month, one-and-a-half-to-three, and two-to-four-year sentences, with 253 days of time served credit. Person was given work release in June 2013 but returned to prison when the assault and resisting conviction sentence was amended in August 2015. In December 2016, he was granted work release again.
Person was charged with escape in Manchester in September 2017 and acts prohibited, disobeying an officer, and subsequent marijuana-hash possession charges in Manchester in October 2017. In February 2018, he was sentenced to three and a half to seven years in prison, all suspended for five years, and one to two years in prison, stand committed, and a $620 fine that was suspended for five years.
Person was arrested on a drug possession charge in January 2020 in Manchester.
In August 2020, Person was arrested on three acts prohibited charges in Hooksett and reckless conduct-deadly weapon, three drug possession, evidence, resisting, and disobeying an officer charges in Manchester.
The escape sentence from 2017 was amended in August 2020 to three and a half to seven years, stand committed.
Person also pleaded guilty to the Manchester drug charge in November 2020 and was sentenced to two to seven years with 76 days of time served credit, stand committed. He was also fined $434 but it was also suspended. Person also pleaded guilty to the deadly weapon, drug, evidence, resisting, and disobeying an officer charges in November 2020 and received a three to six year sentence suspended for seven years, two 12-month sentences, and two other suspended sentences.
In February 2021, Person pleaded guilty to one of the three Hooksett acts prohibited charges and received a two-to-five-year suspended sentence and a $620 fine.
In April 2023, Person filed a civil complaint against Manchester police ? a ?tort-automobile? case that is still actively working its way through the court system. Jury selection is slated to start in May 2026.
