The Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning parents across the country to use caution with all models of Fisher Price Rock 'N Plays following at least 10 infant deaths since 2015. In every case, the baby was placed in the rocker without the restrained and rolled over, falling out. Parents are urged to stop using the item as soon as their child starts to roll over, which is usually around three months of age.

According to the CPSC, Fisher Price warns parents not to use the rocker past three months due to safety concerns and to always strap children in using the three-point harness system built into the padding.

It's important to note that the item has not been recalled and is safe when properly used with babies who cannot roll over onto their sides or stomach.

As a rule, the CPSC encourages parents to use included safety harnesses on inclined sleeping products such as the Rock 'n Play, and to always lay infants on their backs to sleep with no pillows, blankets, stuffed animals or other soft objects nearby.
