Former Concord Resident Passes Away

PUNTA GORDA, FL — Judith I (Doolan) Brochu (3/13/1944- 11/27/2016) Punta Gorda Florida. Judy passed away peacefully with her husband and daughter by her side on Nov. 27, 2016.

She grew up in Lancaster, then graduated from Houles Beauty Academy in Manchester. She went on to have a very successful career in hair dressing, until her first stroke in 1971. Judy lived in Concord, where she was a charter member of the Concord Contemporary Club. She was also a member of The West Concord Garden Club, The West Concord Villagers, The NH BMW Car Club, The BMWCCA, The NH Rose Society, The New England Rose Society and American Rose society, where she was a recipient of the Bronze Award.

In recent years Judy moved to Punta Gorda Florida with her husband. Where made many new friends at Windmill Village.

Judy was born the Daughter of Sarah and David Doolan.

She is survived by her husband Emmanuel Brochu Jr., her daughter and son in law, Pamela Timmins and James Timmins, her grandson Noah Brochu. She is also survived by sister Evelyn Wesson, and brother Patrick( Dusty) Doolan, sisters in Law Anne Sherman, Donna Brochu, Sharon Brochu and Sylvia Doolan, brothers in law Thomas Sherman, Jean Brochu, George Brochu, Ernest Brochu and Dean Wesson. Along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many treasured friends. Judy was predeceased by sister Nancy Hamilton and Mariann Walker, brothers William Doolan, James Doolan and John Doolan, and foster brother John Westover.

A Memorial service will be held in the spring.

Judy will be missed, may she Rest In Peace.
