Free Entry To 14 NH Museums This Weekend For Museum Day
Concord's McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center and Portsmouth's Strawbery Banke Museum will offer free admission for Museum Day 2018.

CONCORD, NH — Fourteen New Hampshire museums will offer free admission this weekend as part of Smithsonian Magazine's 2018 "Museum Day." The event is Saturday, September 22. About 1,500 museums across the country that are participating.
Concord's McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center. Portsmouth's Strawbery Banke Museum and Exeter's American Independence Museum are among the Granite State Museums participating.
Individuals can download tickets for Museum Day on Smithsonian Magazine's website. Each ticket allows free admission for two people. One ticket is available per email address.

The theme for this year's event is "Women Making History."
"Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine," the magazine wrote.
