The country superstar brings his band to the Capitol Center for the Arts on April 18.

Singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson, one of country music's biggest stars for more than four decades, bring his singular talent to Concord's Capitol Center for the Arts on April 18.
Kristofferson, who began his musical career in the early 1970s as a much-admired songwriter --he penned “Me and Bobby McGee,” “Help Me Make It Through the Night,” “Sunday Morning Coming Down” and “For the Good Times,” all huge hits -- eventually turned to performing both as a solo act and as part of The Highwaymen, a country supergroup that also included Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.

Kristofferson has recorded nearly 30 albums and won three Grammys. He also made a name as an actor in more than 70 films, including the 1977 version of “A Star Is Born,” which brought him the Golden Globe for Best Actor in the role taken by Bradley Cooper in 2018.
