Litchfield Man ID'd In Fatal Hooksett Crash On Sunday

HOOKSETT, NH — Police in Hooksett have identified the motorcyclist who died during a three-vehicle crash on Sunday.

Joseph Romano, 63, of Litchfield was driving a Harley-Davidson trike when the vehicle collided with two SUVs — a Jeep Liberty and a Chevrolet Equinox. The Liberty, according to police, was being driven by Leena Aly, 23, of Bow. The Chevy was being driven by Dustin Carroll-Burr, 18, of Belmont.

Around 6:30 p.m., police were sent to West River Road at the intersection with Cross Road after hearing about the accident. Good Samaritans were giving CPR to Romano before police and firefighters arrived, according to dispatch.

No charges have been filed in the incident and the crash remains under investigation, according to police.

The crash was the fourth fatal motorcycle crash in central and southern New Hampshire during the last week.
