Longtime Concord Fire Deputy Jon France Retires
France served on the Concord Fire Dept. for 22 years and retired Monday.

CONCORD, N.H. - Longtime Concord Fire Dept. Deputy Jon France said goodbye to his fellow firefighters on Monday.
According to the City Newsletter, France left this week after 22 years of service.
"Jon brought passion to fire and emergency services, and was committed to the safety and growth of the people with whom he served," the newsletter reads. "He demonstrated the Department's core values of courage, integrity, dedication, and compassion. He will be deeply missed, and we wish him the best as he begins a new chapter."

On the Concord Fire Dept. Facebook, admins thanked France for his service.
" He is a role model for the Department's core values of courage, integrity, dedication, and compassion. He will be deeply missed. Thank you, Chief, you made us all better for knowing you.," the post reads.
