Manchester Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Trafficking

A Manchester man this week plead guilty to oxycodone trafficking in federal court.

CONCORD, N.H. - A Manchester man this week plead guilty to trafficking oxycodone in federal court.

According to a release from United States Attorney Scott W. Murray's office, Christopher Chandonnais, 26, of Manchester, was caught by the Nashua Police Department in October of 2017 making a drug sale to another drug distributor.

Police recovered approximately 90 oxycodone pills and over $11,000 from Candonnais after searching his person and vehicle. The investigation confirmed that the defendant regularly sold oxycodone pills and made a profit of approximately $10 per pill sold.

Chandonnais pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, controlled substances and possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute. He is scheduled to be sentenced on September 14, 2018.

“The opioid problem in our state is fueled, in part, by the use and abuse of oxycodone,” said U.S. Attorney Murray. “We will continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners to prosecute those who unlawfully distribute these substances.”
