Massachusetts Truck Driver Injured In Interstate 89 Crash In NH

Alexander Nunez of West Springfield, MA, injured his arm when the box truck he was driving overturned on Sunday in New London.

NEW LONDON, NH — New Hampshire State Police are investigating how a box truck crashed onto its side on Interstate 89 on Sunday.

State troopers were sent to New London, near Mile Marker 33, around 12:45 a.m. after receiving reports about a crash.

"When Troopers arrived on scene, they discovered that a box truck for Rose K. Trucking Company drove off the roadway and overturned onto its side in the median," said Sgt. Irwin Malilay of Troop D in Concord. "Due to the box truck being on its side, the removal of the box truck caused the left lane to be closed for several hours."
