Most Searched Holiday Movie In New Hampshire? 'Die Hard'
HowToWatch.com eyed Google Trends, cross-referenced, and came up with a Top 25 list of the most searched films in all 50 states. Discuss.

HowToWatch.com has compiled both a list of the all-time favorite holiday movies as well as the most-searched, and therefore, presumed, the most popular holiday film, by state.
Here is the list: Each state’s most-searched-for holiday movie.
In New Hampshire, the firm said, "Die Hard," the classic Bruce Willis action film, is the state's favorite holiday movie. "Die Hard" was listed second nation-wide behind "Home Alone." "Gremlins" came in third ahead of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Black Christmas" rounding out the Top 5.

"It's A Wonderful Life," the Frank Kapra classic, came in seventh which is a bit of a surprise (although the data is based on search trends not a survey of popularity).
Some question whether or not "Die Hard" is a holiday movie. That can be debated. The first two films were both set to the backdrop of holiday travel – something we can all agree is a nightmare most years. But they were action films that you could watch any time of the year whereas one wouldn't watch "Love Actually" in say July, would they?
