Motorcyclist Involved In West River Road Crash Dies: Update

A 3-vehicle crash in Hooksett between two SUVs and a Harley-Davidson trike took the life of the motorcyclist on Sunday.

HOOKSETT, NH — The driver of a Harley-Davidson trike, who was ejected during a crash on Sunday in Hooksett, has died.

Around 6:30 p.m., police were sent to West River Road at the intersection with Cross Road for a multi-vehicle accident. Good Samaritans were giving CPR to the motorcyclist before police and firefighters arrived, according to dispatch. Police found three vehicles involved — Chevrolet Equinox, Jeep Liberty, and the trike, and several ambulances were requested to assist with the injuries.

"The drivers of the Liberty and the Equinox as well as a passenger in the Equinox sustained apparent minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital," Sgt. Christopher Buker said. "The driver of the trike was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased."

No names have been released and the accident is still under investigation. Hooksett and Bow firefighters assisted police, according to Buker.

This has been the fourth fatality involving motorcycles in central New Hampshire during the past week.
