Multi-Vehicle Accident Reported On West River Road In Hooksett

Watch: Four ambulances were sent to the area near Cross Road for a crash between several vehicles and a motorcycle on Sunday.

HOOKSETT, NH — Four ambulances were sent to Hooksett after a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to fire dispatch.

Around 6:30 p.m., dispatch began receiving calls requesting EMTs and police to West River Road near Cross Road. At first, Hooksett EMTs were sent. But a few minutes later, dispatch called for more ambulances after hearing that there were "multiple injuries." Manchester EMTs and AMR ambulance services were also sent due to another Hooksett ambulance tending to an overdose call at Granite Hill Villages on Hooksett Road at the same time.

At the scene, according to dispatch, witnesses were starting CPR on the motorcyclist who was down, dispatch stated.

The first arriving firefighters reported the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike. Bow and Concord firefighters were then sent to Hooksett to assist.

Later, EMTs transported patients to Eliot Hospital in Manchester while fire command called for two additional ambulances. Hooksett police then sent out an alert at 7 p.m. stating the road was closed for an undetermined amount of time.

More patients were taken later to Eliot Hospital while some left the area to seek medical treatment on their own, dispatch stated. No long after, Concord EMTs were told to go back into service.
